Billie Ann Hudson Powell

Billie Ann Hudson Powell, 80, of Greer, went home to be with the Lord, peaceably in her home on Monday, July 18, 2022. She was born in Greenville, SC to the late William “Bill” Hudson and Pauline Holder Hudson.

She was a member of Riverside Baptist Church and was retired from State Auto Insurance Company. She enjoyed traveling, genealogy, and was an avid reader of history. She enjoyed spending time with her special friend, Ken Fowler, and her family.

She is survived by her sons, Allan (Lori) and Kenneth “Kenny” (Sheila) Powell; daughter-in-law, Karen Powell; seven grandchildren, Vance and Haley Powell, Benjamin, William and Hannah Powell, and Kensli and Jonathan “Jay” Powell; brother, Ronald “Ronnie” Hudson; niece and nephew, Randy (Tomae) Hudson and Rhonda (Russell) Levesque.

She is predeceased by her son, Larry Brian Powell.

Visitation was held Friday, July 22, 2022 from 1-2 p.m. and the service began at 2 p.m. at Living Waters Funeral Home & Crematory, 529 Spartanburg Hwy. S., Lyman, SC 29365.

Pastor Nate Beam officiated.

Interment was at Wood Memorial Park, 863 Gap Creek Road, Greer, SC 29651.
