Billie E. Green
Billie Elizabeth Gibson Green, 90, passed away December 12, 2022.
A native of Greenville County, SC, daughter of the late Malcolm and Violet Bridwell Gibson, she was a homemaker, and a member of Riverside Baptist Church. Billie loved her Lord and had the purest and deepest love that a mother could have for her children, grandchildren, and husband.
Surviving are her husband, Virgil Lee Green of the home; two daughters, Denise McWhorter (David) of Taylors, SC, and Debbie Cay Skelton (Jeff) of Simpsonville, SC; one son, Darrell Green of Greer, SC; one sister, Shirley Knight of Valparaiso, FL; five grandchildren, Katie Reed (Michael), Anna Bishop (Dylan), Luke McWhorter, Camren Lord (Weston), and Benjamin Skelton; and two great-grandchildren, Lillian Reed, and Hayden Reed.
Mrs. Green was predeceased by two brothers, Wayne Gibson, and Danny “Hoot” Gibson.
A graveside service will be held 2 p.m. Friday, December 16, 2022, at Mountain View Cemetery.
The family will be at the home of Jeff and Debbie Skelton.
