Billy Joe Culbertson

Billy Joe Culbertson, 89, husband of the late Karen “Kay” Reilly Culbertson, passed away March 2, 2022.

A native of Greenville County, son of the late James Curtis and Willie Jeanes Culbertson, he was a retired aircraft mechanic from Lockheed and a member of Aldersgate United Methodist Church.

Surviving are two sons, Tim Culbertson (Sandra) of Belton and Bryon D. Culbertson (Anita) of Easley; three stepdaughters, Kathi Gale (Dexter) of Greer, Terri Scott (Glenn) of Greer, and Jennifer Norris of Simpsonville; one brother, Wesley Culbertson (Betty Sue) of Simpsonville; 11 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.

Mr. Culbertson was predeceased by one son, Terry Culbertson; three brothers, Earl Culbertson, James Culbertson, and Larry Culbertson; and three sisters, Betty Bowen, Linda Watkins, and Iris Henderson.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, March 5, 2022, at The Wood Mortuary Chapel, conducted by Bryon Culbertson.

Visitation will be held 10-10:45 a.m. Saturday, March 5, 2022, at The Wood Mortuary.
