Blake Thorne

Blakely "Blake" Scott Thorne, 23, passed away on Saturday, April 23, 2022.

Born in Greer, he was the son of Michelle and Doug Whaley and Todd Thorne.

Blake was a gentle, loving soul who had the biggest heart, cared for others and met no strangers. He was a talented artist who loved video gaming and the Philadelphia Eagles.

Survivors also include two brothers, Austin (Hannah) Thorne and Achillies Thorne; four sisters, Whitley Thorne, Keyleigh Whaley, Alayna Whaley and Taylor Adkins; his uncle and aunt, Timmy and Lisa Thorne; a niece, Aurora Thorne; and numerous family and friends. He was predeceased by his grandmother, Jean Thorne.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. on Thursday, April 28, 2022 at Stribling Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, April 29, 2022 at Little Mountain Baptist Church with Rev. Tony Patton officiating.

Interment will be held in the church cemetery.
