Blanche Bailey

Blanche Leonard Bailey, 94, wife of the late Clarence Earl Bailey, passed away December 19, 2022.

A native of Greer, daughter of the late Sharp and Mamie Estelle Godfrey Leonard, she was a retired employee of J.P. Stevens Greer Plant and a member of Trinity Fellowship Church.

Surviving are two daughters, Joan Mathews (Gerald) and Tracie Penning, all of Greer; two sons, Steve Bailey and Haskell Bailey (Beryl), all of Greer; eight grandchildren, Dawn Clayman (Bruce), Kristen Johnson, Hunter Bailey, Rodney Acrey, Melissa Long (Patrick), Sonja Durrah (Chris), Zackery Bailey-Penning, and Ashley Bailey; 11 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by one son, Mitchell Bailey; one brother, Gerald Leonard; two sisters, Gladys Waters and Louise Wilkes; and one grandson, Chaney Mathews.

Funeral services will be held 3 p.m. Wednesday, December 21, 2022, at Trinity Fellowship Church conducted by Pastor Chuck Hill. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Memory Gardens.

Visitation will be held 1:30-2:45 p.m. Wednesday, December 21, 2022, at the church.

The family is at their respective homes.
