Bob Eaves

Julian Bobbie “Bob” Eaves, 86, passed away May 10, 2022.

A native of Union County and the son of the late Elbert H. Eaves and Nellie Inman Eaves Roberts, he was a U.S. Navy veteran, a retired Industrial Engineer with Celanese, and member of Greer First Baptist Church.

Surviving are his wife, Faye Waldrop Eaves of the home; a daughter, Traci Aderholdt (Jim) of Kings Mountain, North Carolina; one son, Joel Edward Eaves (Amy) of Taylors; six grandchildren, Christina Aderholdt, Jacob Aderholdt, Rebecca Eaves, Robert Eaves, Carrolynn Johnson and Preston O’Sheal; and one great-grandson, Liam Willis.

He was predeceased by three sisters, Sara Lewis, Betty McNeace and Mamie Bailey.

A graveside service was held 2 p.m. Saturday, May 14, 2022, at Union Memorial Gardens conducted by Dr. Doug Mize and Mrs. Dottie Bryson with military honors.

Visitation was held 6-8 p.m. Friday, May 13, 2022, at The Wood Mortuary Chapel.
