Bobbie Jean Ward Dill
Bobbie Jean Ward Dill, age 89, wife of Joe Roy Dill for 70 years, passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 9, 2023, at National Healthcare of Greenville, SC. She was born in Taylors, South Carolina, to the late Houston and Pauline (Polly) Ward. Bobbie attended Taylors High School. Primarily, Bobbie was a homemaker. She was a member of Fairview Baptist Church.
She is survived by a daughter, Jodie Dill Winchester; grandson, Jason (Amy) Winchester; granddaughter, Stephanie Winchester; great-grandchildren, Benjamin, Andrew, Luke, and Hannah Winchester.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Joe Roy Dill, and a son-inlaw, Robert “Robbie” Winchester.
A funeral service will be held with Rev. Rufus Chaneyworth officiating on Friday, September 15, 2023, at 10:30 a.m. in the Remembrance Chapel at Woodlawn Memorial Park, 1 Pine Knoll Dr., Greenville, SC 29609. The family will receive friends after the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Fairview Baptist Church, 1300 Locust Hill Road, Greer, SC 29651.
