Charles “Mickey” Cromer

Charles “Mickey” Mitchell Cromer, 79, husband of the late Judy B. Cromer, passed away February 12, 2022.

A native of Greer, son of the late Melvin Merle and Evelyn Adell Casey Cromer, he was a machinist for Michelin, a member of Duncan Church of Christ, and attended Milford Baptist Church.

Surviving are two sons, Timothy “Scott” Cromer (Rosemary) of Greer and Phillip Cromer; two daughters, Renee Cromer Gillchrest (Bradford) and Denise Gerrard Lowe; one brother, Tommy Cromer; two sisters, Alice Collins and Kaye Carpenter; seven grandchildren, Heather and Rachel Gillchrest, Joshua (Felicia), Jessica, Jacob, Jenna, and Joseph Cromer; and three great-grandchildren, Donovan Griffin, Allie Pierce, and Phoebe Pierce.

Mr. Cromer was predeceased by two brothers, Donald Cromer and Earl Cromer, and one sister, Janice Howard.

Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Friday, February 18, 2022, at Milford Baptist Church conducted by Rev. Larry Mason. Burial will follow in Milford Baptist Church Cemetery.

Visitation will be held 1-1:45 p.m. Friday, February 18, 2022, at Milford Baptist Church.

Pallbearers will be Jacob Cromer, Joshua Cromer, Buddy Wendell, Joseph Cromer, and Donovan Griffin.
