Cynthia Waters Geddis

Cynthia Waters Geddis, 89, widow of Albert L. Geddis, passed away January 30, 2021.

A native of Greenville County, daughter of the late Walker Charlie and Minnie Ethel Fowler Waters, she was a homemaker and a member of Abner Creek Baptist Church.

Surviving are two daughters, Sandra Harrison of Greer and Teresa Alexander of Wellford; seven grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Geddis was predeceased by one daughter, Lois G. Dyer; one great-grandchild; three brothers; and three sisters.

Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday, February 9, 2021 at The Wood Mortuary, conducted by Rev. Jamie Gibson with webcasting available at www.thewoodmortuary.com. Burial will follow in Mountain View Cemetery.

The body will lie in state 1-7 p.m. Monday, February 8, 2021 at The Wood Mortuary.
