Dale Emery Pittman

Dale Emery Pittman, 82, wife of the late Billy Lee Pittman, passed away November 5, 2022.

A native of Landrum, daughter of the late Albert and Annie Plumley Emery, she was a retired employee of Steel Heddle, a graduate of Draughon’s Business College, and a member of Mount Pleasant Baptist Church.

Surviving are a daughter, Kathy Pittman Harrison (Darrell) of Landrum; four brothers, Zorro Emery of Anderson, Maynard Emery (Sandy) of Landrum, Randy Emery of Greer, and Duane Emery (Jean) of Landrum; two sisters, Nancy Lindsey (J.C.) of Greenville and Pansy Roche (Gary) of Greer; two grandchildren, Will (Rebekah) and Laura (Dylan); three step-grandchildren, April (Steve), Crystal (Joe), and Kent; and one sister-in-law, Diane Emery of Greer.

She was also predeceased by two brothers, Alvin Emery and Buddy Emery, and one sister-in-law, Shirley Emery.

Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday, November 9, 2022, at Mount Pleasant Baptist Church, conducted by Rev. Josh Griffin and Dr. Pete Wilbanks. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Visitation will be held 5:30-7:30 p.m. Tuesday, November 8, 2022, at The Wood Mortuary.

The family is at their respective homes.
