Donald Neves Barnette, 88, passed away March 19, 2021.

A native of Greenville County, son of the late Guy Waddy and Ida Elizabeth Neves Barnette, he was a United States Army Veteran, retired from Duke Power, and a lifetime member of Mountain View United Methodist Church.

Surviving are his wife Joycelan J. Cameron Barnette of the home; two daughters, Donna Pittman (Ted) of Ormond Beach, FL and Tina Wade (Van) of Live Oak, FL; two sons, Kerry Barnette (LeAnn) of Taylors and David Barnette (Deedi) of Easley; two sisters, Carolyn Erskine of Greer and Becky Pickens (Jerry) of Cross Hill; six grandchildren, Tyler Pittman (Amanda), Adam Barnette, Amy Barnette, Cameron Barnette, Keegan Barnette, Caden Barnette; and one great-grandson, Ty Pittman.

Mr. Barnette was predeceased by one brother, Wilton Barnette, and one sister, Genelle Wrenn.

A graveside service will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday, March 23, 2021 at Mountain View United Methodist Church Cemetery conducted by Rev. Carole Walters.

Pallbearers will be David, Kerry, Cameron, Caden, Keegan, Adam Barnette and Tyler Pittman.
