Frank E. Hawkins

Greer Frank Eugene Hawkins, 85, passed away April 15, 2021.

A native of Greer, son of the late William R. and Ressie Bagwell Hawkins, he was a United States Army Veteran, retired from Hoechst Celanese and a member of Praise Cathedral.

Surviving are his wife of 60 years, June “Runt” Galloway Hawkins of the home; two daughters, Tina Swafford (Van) and Renee Hawkins (Mark), and a very special brother, Marion “Straw” Hawkins, all of Greer; five grandchildren, Steven Hawkins (Leslie), Kacie Marcus Rupert (Deanne), Blake Swafford (Sara Ashleigh), Chase Marcus (Alex), Brooke Lacell (Richie); and five great-grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held 3 p.m. Sunday, April 18, 2021 at Praise Cathedral conducted by Pastor Jerry Madden, Pastor Tommy Harvey and Tony Tipton. Burial will follow in Mountain View Cemetery.

Visitation will be 1:30-2:45 p.m. Sunday, April 18, 2021 at Praise Cathedral before the funeral service.

Pallbearers will be Steven Hawkins, Blake Swafford, Chase Marcus, Richie Lacell, Jason Galloway and Charles Templeton.
