James Phillip Hyman, 75, passed away on Saturday, September 2, 2017 surrounded by family and friends.

Phil was born September 14, 1941 in Pamplico, SC to Clarence and Beulah C. Hyman. He was predeceased by his wife, Anne Alexander Hyman of 57 beautiful years. Phil was the founder of their family business, Phil Hyman Photography in Greenville, SC. He found his passion of creating memories through photography almost 50 years ago, and has touched so many lives in this community with his artistry, skills and personality. Phil was a U.S. Marine Corps Veteran.

Surviving are four wonderful children, Phyllis Littlejohn, Rhonda Eldridge, Tammy Smith, and Alex Hyman; and his adored seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

He was a member of Taylors First Baptist Church where the service was held on Tuesday, Sept. 5, 2017 at 2:30 p.m. Burial followed in Graceland East Memorial Park.

Visitation was held 1-2:15 p.m. Tuesday prior to the service at the church.

The family is at the home.
