James Robert Bowser, Jr.

James Robert Bowser, Jr., 79, of Greer, passed away Friday, April 16, 2021.

He was the loving husband of Darlene Ann Bowser and the son of the late James R. and Olivia Morgan Bowser, Sr. of Pittsburg, PA.

Mr. Bowser was self-employed before retirement and was a member of Southside Baptist Church in Greer. He served our country during the Vietnam War in the Navy. He enjoyed Nascar Racing and watching planes.

In addition to his wife, Darlene, he is survived by his children, Rene Bagnato (Alfonso), Patty Clark (Ricky), Dawn Durney (Shawn), Belinda Fickes (Vince), and William Inman (Vicki); grandchildren, Michael, Shawna, Nicholas, Courtney, Stephanie, Christopher, Izzie, Alyssa, Stephen, Anthony and Ricky Jr.; great grandchildren, J.J., Will, Jaxson, Gabby, Sofia, Aleigha and Phobe; and his siblings, Joe Bowser and Marge Adams (John). He is predeceased by one sister.

Memorial Service will be April 20, 2021 at 3 p.m. at Southside Baptist Church.

The family has requested in lieu of flowers make donations to Hospice in James’ name.
