Joe 'Turtle' Brannon, Jr.

Joe David Brannon, Jr., 35, husband of Samantha McAbee Brannon, passed away September 1, 2022.

A native of Greenville County, SC, son of Jeanette Edwards Brannon of the home and the late Joe David Brannon, Sr., he attended God’s House of Prayer.

Surviving are two daughters, Olivia Nicole Brannon and Zaya Storm Brannon, both of Greer; one brother, Jeff Whitehead of Florence, AL; and one sister, Amanda Drzewucki of Duncan.

Mr. Brannon was predeceased by his maternal grandparents, Connie and Paul Blackwell and paternal grandparents, David and Mildred Brannon.

Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Sunday, September 11, 2022, at The Wood Mortuary Chapel conducted by Rev. Dwayne Pruitt. Burial will follow in Mountain View Cemetery.

Visitation will be held 6-8 p.m. Saturday, September 10, 2022, at The Wood Mortuary.
