Kimberly Denise Hughes

Kimberly Denise Hughes went home to be with her Lord and Savior on August 29, 2023, at 61 years of age. Kimberly was the daughter of Rita M. Young and the late Roy H. Parker.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by her children, Michael Wayne Hughes, Jr. (Lisa), Crystal Dawn Hughes, Steven Ryan Hughes, and Kevin Mathew Hughes (Johanna); her siblings, David West (Faye), Mike Parker (Traci), Fred Parker, Kyanna Burnside, and Kisher Young; 12 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; a special dedicated and beloved friend, Sam Lowe; aunts, Elaine Smart (Joe), Brenda Irwin, Karen Edward (Jimmy), Cheryl Sentell (Raggie); as well as the father of her children, Mike Hughes.

Kimberly is preceded in death by her brother, Keith E. Parker.

A visitation will be held on Monday, September 4, 2023, from 12-1 p.m. at Living Waters Funeral Home & Crematory with a service beginning at 1 p.m. Chaplain David West will officiate. Immediately following the service family and friends will gather for fellowship and food.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital or to The Shriner’s Hospital for Children.
