Lexie Cannon

Lexie Mae Lequire Cannon, 95, wife of the late Burnett Milton Cannon, passed away January 25, 2023.

A native of Whittier, North Carolina, daughter of the late Melvin and Mamie Sizemore Lequire, she was a member of Camp Creek Baptist Church.

Surviving are one daughter, Sandra Bowers (Phil) of Greer; two sons, Keith Cannon of Dayton, Ohio and Dean Cannon (Lesley) of Greer; four grandchildren, Joshua Cannon (Rachel) of Greer, Nick Haney (Stephanie) of Taylors, Marley Cannon Smith (Seth) of Landrum, and James Bowers of Greer; six great-grandchildren; and son-in-law, Steve Forrester of Greer.

She was predeceased by one daughter, Elaine Cannon Forrester; two brothers; three sisters; and one grandson, Jesse Cannon.

A graveside service will be held 3 p.m. Sunday, January 29, 2023, at Fews Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery conducted by Rev. Marckus Fowler.

Visitation will be held 2-2:45 p.m. Sunday at Fews Chapel United Methodist Church.

The family is at their respective homes.
