Mary Melton

Mary Melton, 83, passed away on Monday, July 10, 2017. She was a miracle the moment she was born into the world as a 2 pound preemie born at six months to the late Toy Lee and Florence Alberta Barbare Pearson and the wife of the late Clyde Melton. She was the owner of Clyde’s Auction Barn and was previously employed with JP Stevens.

Survivors include a son, Jerry L. Trotter and wife, Sharon; a daughter, Brenda Southern and husband, Wayne; seven grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by two sons, Robert and Stephen Trotter.   

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, July 12, 2017 from 7 p.m. until 9 p.m. at Stribling Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be at 1 p.m. on Thursday, July 13, 2017 at Stribling Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Trey Thompson officiating. Interment will be at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.

The family will be at home.
