Mildred Adams Westmoreland

Mildred Adams Westmoreland, 93, died Monday, March 27, 2017.

Born in Greenville, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Annie Cox Adams.

Mrs. Westmoreland was retired as a nurse’s aide and a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church. She loved her family which were her whole life.

Surviving are children, Richard Westmoreland of Taylors, Marlene Jones and husband, Gene, of Rocky Mount, NC, Carl Westmoreland and wife, Janet, of Greer, Rozell Baldwin and husband, Butch, of Dallas, WI, Charlene Forrest and husband, Guerry of Berea, and Terry Elledge of Lancaster; eight grandchildren; and twelve great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 23 years, Dean Westmoreland, Jr.

Visitation will be held Thursday, March 30, 2017 from 12:30 to 2:45 p.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Downtown. The funeral service will follow at 3 p.m. in the Downtown Chapel.

Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Park.
