Norma J. Pitman Phillips, 81, passed away December 11, 2022.

A native of Greenville County, daughter of the late Robert Fulton and Grace Stevenson Pitman, she was a retired employee of Fairway Ford after 41 years of service, a member of Fairview Baptist Church where she was a member of Young at Heart, and a member of The Order of the Eastern Star.

Surviving are her husband, James E. “Jimmy” Phillips of the home; a step-daughter, Pamela Patterson (Randy) of Greer; one brother, Kenneth Pittman (Charlotte) of Greer; two sisters, Sara Ellen Finley of Greenville and Avis Jones of North Richland Hills, Texas; two step-grandchildren, Ashley Patterson (Austin Samples) and Preston Patterson (Hannah) all of Greer; two step-great-grandchildren, Peyton Daniels and Rylee Samples; and many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by a daughter, Kimberly A. Kirby; three brothers, Doyle Pitman, Maynard Pitman, and R.F. Pitman; and four sisters, Dot Copeland, Juanita Mease, Willie Mae Williams, and Evelyn Crumley.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, December 14, 2022, at Fairview Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Graceland Cemetery West.

Honorary escorts will be the Leon Fayonsky and McFadden Sunday School Classes of Fairview Baptist Church and Paris High School Class of 1960.

Visitation will be held 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, December 13, 2022, at Fairview Baptist Church.

The family is at the home.
