Ronnie DeYoung

Ronnie Clyde DeYoung, 71, passed away June 26, 2020.

A native of Spartanburg County, son of the late Jasper Benjamin and Laura Mae Owens DeYoung, he was a retired employee of Creform Corporation of Greer and a US Army veteran of the Vietnam War.

Surviving are his wife, Gloria Jernigan DeYoung of the home; one daughter, Katie DeYoung Anderson (Justin) of Pickens; one son, Justin DeYoung (Amanda) of Taylors; one brother, Donnie Owens (Phyllis) of JoAnna; one sister, Harriet DeYoung Waddell (John) of Simpsonville; five grandchildren, Abigail DeYoung, Andy Anderson, Gracey Anderson, Willy Anderson, and Walker Anderson.

Funeral services will be held 3 p.m. Monday, June 29, 2020 at Peoples Baptist Church, conducted by Rev. Justin Anderson and Rev. Shane Burnett. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Memory Gardens with Military Honors.

Pallbearers will be Wayne DeYoung, James West, Walter Curtis Sherman, Jr., Randy Flynn, Greg Shelton and Carroll Leopard.

Visitation will be 1:45-2:45 p.m. Monday at the church prior to the service.
