Sandra H. Blackwell

Sandra Hawkins Blackwell, 76, wife of the late Tommy Lee Blackwell, passed away June 3, 2023.

A native of Greer, SC, daughter of the late Fred and Cathryn Satterfield Hawkins, she was a graduate of Greer High School, a retired employee of John D. Hollinsworth, and a member of Apalache Baptist Church.

Surviving are one daughter, Ondra Blackwell-Hall (Todd) of the home; grandsons, Jordan Hall (Bridgette) and Jonathan Hall, both of Greer, SC; great-grandson, Luke Jordan Hall of Greer, SC; sister, Freda Barton (Bobby) of Greer, SC; sisters-in-law, Teresa Davis Hawkins Dye of Smyrna, TN, and Dottie Blackwell Spencer (Steve) of Greer, SC; brother-in-law, Bobby Waddell of Greer, SC; and special friend, Rose Maybin.

Mrs. Blackwell was predeceased by one brother, Tony Hawkins; one sister, Carolyn Hawkins Waddell; father and mother-in-law, Eldridge (El) and Edna Wood Blackwell.

Funeral services will be held 4 p.m. Tuesday, June 6, 2023, at The Wood Mortuary Chapel conducted by Rev. Joe Price. Burial will follow in Wood Memorial Park.

Visitation will be held 2:30-3:45 p.m. Tuesday, June 6, 2023, at The Wood Mortuary.

The family will be at the home.
