Sara S. Compton

Sara Snow Compton, 95, widow of Miles Franklin Compton, passed away December 15, 2020.

A native of Spartanburg County, daughter of the late H.B. “Bud” and Sallie Floyd Snow, she was a former employee of Lyman Printing and Finishing and Allen Bennett Memorial Hospital. She was a member of Memorial United Methodist Church.

Surviving are one daughter, Deborah Compton of Asheville, NC; one brother, Jerry Snow of Mauldin; and many nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday, December 18, 2020 at Woodlawn Memorial Park, conducted by Rev. Gene Aiken.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Memorial United Methodist Church, 201 North Main Street, Greer, SC 29650 or to a children’s charity of one’s choice.
