Sarah M. Ellenburg
Sarah Massey Ellenburg, 80, of Taylors passed away May 18, 2021.
A native of Piedmont, daughter of the late Charlie Massey and Mamie Bell Davis Palmer, she was a retired computer specialist for Picanol of America, after leaving she devoted her time to babysitting her grandchildren and volunteering at the hospital. Sarah loved going to eat with her friends, spending time with her family, playing the piano and organ for serval churches in the area and was a member of Brushy Creek Baptist Church in Taylors.
Surviving are her sister Barbara Ann (Maynard) of Williamston; one daughter, Shala (Mike) of Greer; one son, Chris (Muriel) of Boiling Springs; four grandchildren, Blake, Graceanna (Jake), Jenna, Olivia; two great-grandchildren, Emma Kate, and Alec.
A funeral service was held 2 p.m. Saturday, May 22, 2021 at Brushy Creek Baptist Church, 4999 Old Spartanburg Road, Taylors 29687 conducted by Dr. Ralph Carter and Dr. Bill Hightower. Burial followed in Hillcrest Memory Gardens.
A visitation was held 12:45-1:45 p.m. at the church prior to the service.
