Sylvia H. Morris

Sylvia Henson Morris, 92, wife of the late Jesse Carl Morris, passed away July 25, 2022.

A native of Spartanburg County, daughter of the late Vardry Echols and Robbie Mae Morrow Henson, she was a retired employee of Springs Industries and a member of Mount Lebanon Baptist Church.

Surviving are one son, Jesse Robert Morris of Greer; three sisters, Linda Green of Lyman, Jewel Lemmons of Greer, and Ora Cox of Lyman; two grandchildren, Megan Shavers and Savanna Kimpton; and three great-grandchildren, Levi and Lucas Shavers and Daisy Rose Kimpton.

Mrs. Morris was predeceased by two sons, Joey Carl Morris and Timothy Adam Morris; two brothers, Paul Henson and Billy Henson; and one sister, Bobbie Kate Henson.

Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Thursday, July 28, 2022, at The Wood Mortuary conducted by Rev. Mark Smith. Burial will follow in Wood Memorial Park.

Visitation will be held 1-1:45 p.m. Thursday at The Wood Mortuary.
