Willie Mae Stepp
Willie Mae “Billie” Bryant Stepp, 91, went to be with her Lord and Savior on February 8, 2022, and reunited with her husband of 61 years, James Arlen “Dink” Stepp.
A native of Spartanburg County, daughter of the late Martin Marion and Mattie Lou Hamby Bryant, she was a retired employee of Steel Heddle, a member of Steel Heddle’s Retirement Group, and a member of Praise Cathedral.
Surviving are a daughter, Kim Vandenberg of Simpsonville; three sons, James A. “Jimmy” Stepp, Jr. of Greer, Terry Martin Stepp (Terra) of Ragland, Alabama, and Joel Everett Stepp (Debbie) of Spartanburg; two brothers-in-law, Bruce Stepp (Linda) of Norman, Oklahoma and Zan Stepp of Kenansville, North Carolina; five grandchildren, Sonya McMillan (Scott), James Stepp III, Kyle Vandenberg, Staci Vandenberg (Brian), and Zachary Stepp (Allison); and three great-grandchildren, Raegan McMillan, Ethan Stepp, and Cooper McMillan.
Mrs. Stepp was predeceased by a brother, Marion Bryant, one brother-in-law, Roger Stepp, and two sisters, Margaret Reid and Betty Hudson.
Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, February 12, 2022, at Praise Cathedral conducted by Pastor Jerry Madden. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Memory Gardens.
Pallbearers will be Jimmy Stepp, Terry Stepp, Joel Stepp, James Stepp III, Zach Stepp, and Kyle Vandenberg.
Honorary escort will be Scott McMillan, Ethan Stepp, and Cooper McMillan.
Visitation will be held noon-1:45 p.m. Saturday at the church.
