Morris M. King, 66, died Feb. 11, 2016.

He was an employee of Greenville Casualty Insurance and Motor Cars, LLC and a U.S. Navy Veteran.

Surviving are his wife, Claudette King and many other family and close friends.

A memorial service will be held 6:30 p.m. Thursday at The Wood Mortuary.

Mary Louisa Barnes Hayes, much beloved mother, wife, aunt, and respected local educator, died peacefully on Feb. 6, 2015, at The Cottages at Brushy Creek, Greer, at the age of 96.  She was surrounded by loving daughters and devoted caregivers.

Ricky Dean Few, 56, 34 Hall Road, died Feb. 16, 2016 at his home.

A native of Spartanburg County, he was a son of Louise Wilbanks Few of Greer and the late Benny Joe Few, and a member of Open Door Freedom Fellowship.

Hugh Curtis Brown, 78, of 4020 North Highway 101, died Feb. 11, 2016 at his home.

A native of Greer, son of the late Curtis O. and Vivian Willis Brown, he was a retired self-employed residential builder and a member of Highland Baptist Church.

Michael Shane Arms, 46, husband of Wendi White Arms, died Feb. 11, 2016.

Thetis Ballenger Rush, 92, a native of Greer, died at home in Columbus, North Carolina after a prolonged illness.

Earl Francis Johnston, 88, of Taylors, passed away on Monday, February 1, 2016, to join his loving wife Mary in God’s glorious Kingdom.

Earl was a Chiropractor in Greer for many years, known as “Doc” and “Dr. J”.

Grace Christine Whitfield McCall, 92, widow of Earl Eugene McCall, died January 29, 2016.

A native of Anderson County, she was a daughter of the late Furman and Bertha Mae Holden Whitfield, a homemaker and member of  Victorian Hills Community Church.
