Officers searching for suspect
Spartanburg County deputies are looking for a suspect following a shooting early Monday morning in Greer.
According to Spartanburg County Sheriff’s Office officials, officers responded to a call on Kaleigh Drive in Greer at around 2 a.m. Upon arrival, deputies found a male victim with a gunshot wound to his chest.
The victim told police that a suspect held him at gunpoint for a few hours. Following an altercation, the victim was shot.
Police are currently looking for Freda Lynn Lambert-Smith, a person of interest, in connection with the shooting.
The victim told police that Freda Lynn Lambert-Smith left the scene in a 2014 white Ford Fiesta with the license plate number, “KLK 844.”
The victim was airlifted to Spartanburg Regional Medical Center.
As of 10 a.m. on Monday, the suspect was still at large.
