Police investigating Spartanburg shooting

The Greenville County Sheriff’s Office is investigating following a multi-agency officer involved shooting.
The incident took place in Spartanburg last Thursday. Police said the suspect, identified as 45 year-old Shannon Earl Smith, reportedly shot two people at a nearby park and retreated to his residence at 225 Amelia Street.
