Body found in woods in Lyman identified

At 2 p.m. on May 4, a body was found in the woods near Tapp Circle in Lyman. The body was identified by the Spartanburg County Coroner’s Office as Greer resident Edward Kearney.

A man died in a double shooting in Taylors last Thursday morning. The shooting took place on Gandy Avenue around 3 a.m.

Two arrested, two still sought for puppy thefts

Two people are under arrest, but Greenville County deputies are looking for two other suspects who they say stole two puppies from the humane society.
The two Siberian Husky puppies — taken from the Greenville Humane Society last week — were safely returned.

Lyman man charged with murder

Justin Paris, 32, of 170 Jordan Road, Lyman, is behind bars after being charged with murder, armed robbery and kidnapping, following deputies responding to a burglary.
