SCSO warns Christmas shoppers of gift card fraud
The Spartanburg County Sheriff’s Office (SCSO) is warning shoppers this holiday season of gift card fraud in their purchasing of the cards.
Travelers Rest man arrested
Randall Marion Bailey, 65, of Travelers Rest, was arrested on five charges connected to the sexual exploitation of minors.
The Greenville County Sheriff’s Office and Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force investigators made the arrest on October 31.

The Joyce Scott Chapter of Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) honored the Greer Fire Station 1 and police departments on National First Responders Day on Saturday.
Area man pleads guilty
Jameel Naadir, 60, of Spartanburg, pleaded guilty on October 16 to Felony Driving Under the Influence with Great Bodily Injury and Hit and Run for an accident involving Great Bodily Injury.

Woman killed on Wade Hampton
A pedestrian walking along Wade Hampton near Taylors was killed last Wednesday. Around 2 a.m. the morning of October 25, Donna Carol Parnell, 52, of Greenville, was struck in the area of 2617 Wade Hampton Blvd.
