A Duncan man is behind bars at The Spartanburg County Detention Center after police say he robbed two Dollar General Stores, a Kangaroo gas station, and attempted to rob a Citgo gas station. Robert Craig Allen, 53, of 5 Princess Drive, has been charged with two counts of armed robbery and two counts of attempted armed robbery.
Six-year-old Ben Leslie was diagnosed with Synovial Sarcoma, a rare form of cancer that affects soft tissues in the body. Leslie is from Saluda, N.C., but he has family ties in Duncan.
