Riverside managed to squeak past cross-town rival Eastside last week during an 11-10 victory over the Eagles. Both teams are playoff bound and will host home games this week.

Eagles baseball begins title hunt

The Eastside baseball team will begin its quest for a state title this week, hosting Walhalla in round one of the Class AAAA playoffs.

The Eagles capped the regular season last week with a loss to rival Riverside, 11-10. 

“We lost a slug fest,” head coach Scott Erwin said, crediting his offense with a stellar night.
