Byrnes wrestling coach Russell Howard will now serve as the school’s Athletic Director.
Spartanburg School District Five made the announcement Tuesday afternoon, following a unanimous approval by the District Five Board of Trustees.
Howard replaces Tony Gillespie, who recently stepped down from the role.
