It has been a strange January for basketball teams at Byrnes High.
Since Jan. 7, Byrnes boys’ and girls’ basketball teams have been unable to play in the gym on campus, relocating to Byrnes Freshman Academy across the street.
Spartanburg District Five officials say bats are the problem.
