After Riverside found themselves in a 2-0 first-inning hole, Coach Michael Pettit wondered if he’d bitten off more than he could chew.
“I’m sitting in the dugout going ‘oh, boy,’” Pettit said. “‘Maybe this isn’t going to go how it played out in my head.’”
