Yellow Jacket football back in action
The Greer High football team is back in full swing with practices beginning this Friday. Greer will enter “Camp Swarm” on Aug. 6, 7 and 8, followed by a scrimmage with Gaffney at Dooley Field at 6 p.m. on Aug. 8.
Cami Lee Isbell, a 9 year old from Greenwood, got quite the surprise when she threw out the first pitch at the Greenville Drive game on Monday. After making the toss, she was greeted by her father (the catcher) Staff Sgt. Michael Isbell, who recently returned from duty in Afghanistan.
