Riverside senior softball player Elizabeth Standridge will be among the first to play softball at Laurel University in High Point, North Carolina. The small, Christian university will welcome the pitcher in the fall. She says she loves the team already.
Riverside High’s Kenny Rado has decided to play soccer at Erskine College. He signed his letter of intent last Tuesday during an event at the school.
Rado has played soccer for 15 years and wants to continue playing the sport he loves.
Luke Fetchko signed with Guildford Technical College in Jamestown, North Carolina because he believes playing baseball for a two-year school will allow him to play immediately and also prolong his career.
Blue Ridge’s Hayley Smith recently signed a letter of intent to dance at Limestone College next fall. Smith has been dancing for more than eight years and also played volleyball for the Tigers.

Abby Farr, a libero on the Riverside High volleyball team, signed a letter of intent to play at Jacksonville State in Alabama. Riverside’s coach, April Raymond, said Farr has been a valuable member of the team and one of the most motivational players she has coached.
Maxi Riese will soon know the Erskine College athletic fields and training rooms very well.
