Former Baltimore Ravens running back Ray Rice has announced a new profession in recent days -- time traveler -- and it’s just as well, since he has about as good a chance landing that gig as he does another running back job this year.

Byrnes struggled to put points on the board against Dutch Fork, only scoring late in the fourth quarter when the game was already decided.

With his first season in the books, Byrnes head coach Brian Lane said there is plenty to look forward to in 2015.

Despite losing some key seniors on both sides of the ball, the Rebels will return a core group of starters, adding to an already successful incoming class.

A season that saw plenty of success came to an abrupt end for Byrnes Friday night at Dutch Fork. The Rebels could not manage to slow down the Silver Foxes, falling by a score of 41-6 in the state semifinal.

Down go the Rebels

The Rebels had hoped the state semifinal would provide some revenge, but instead it was more of the same.

Dutch Fork torched Byrnes in the Upper State championship game, pulling away in a 41-6 blowout and ousting the Rebels for a second-straight season.
