Jackets head home to face Berea

Blue Ridge coach Shane Clark will be watching to see how his team responds to its first region loss of the year this Friday against Travelers Rest.

The Tigers are coming off a 14-6 loss to Emerald, which marks the team’s second loss of the season.

Clark said his team doesn’t know exactly what to expect from the 0-6 Devildogs.

Byrnes is hoping to cut back on the turnovers this week as they take on Riverside at Nixon Field. Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m. Friday.

Rebels to host Warriors

Byrnes will be hoping for a less sloppy performance this Friday against Riverside, after turning the ball over multiple times during last week’s win.

Head coach Brian Lane said his guys will need to be ready for a Warrior team that is much improved.

Collins comes up big for Rebels

Byrnes quarterback Micah Young found his new favorite target Friday night during the team’s 42-6 win over Boiling Springs.

Senior Rebel wide receiver Braylin Collins hauled in six receptions, totaling 182 yards and three touchdowns, earning offensive Player of the Week honors from The Greer Citizen and Owens Insurance.
