The offense was there for Eastside during last week’s 52-32 loss to Chapman, but the Eagles couldn’t find enough stops to pick up their second win of the season.

The team hopes to iron out the wrinkles this Friday as they host the 5-0 Greer Yellow Jackets.

Blue Ridge will storm into Emerald Friday in search of its third region win of the season. The Tigers are currently 4-1 overall.

Blue Ridge has outscored its opponents 49-6 in the last two games, and the Tigers will need a similar performance if they want another region win this Friday at Emerald.

Now 4-1 on the season, head coach Shane Clark said this game is an important one for his team.

Greer running back Adrian McGee helped his Yellow Jackets remain unbeaten, dashing for a score during a 28-13 win over Emerald.

For the third time this season, the Yellow Jackets were forced to fight from behind to remain unbeaten.

Despite several early turnovers and miscues, Greer earned its fourth win of the season last Friday night at Emerald, taking the region matchup by a score of 28-13.

For Greer, it was all about defense.
