The Greer High School Booster Club began its seasonal push to raise money for Yellow Jacket sports teams, hosting a golf tournament last Friday at Greer Country Club.

Greer High athletes were on hand to volunteer and local residents dusted off the clubs to help raise funds for upcoming seasons.

Rebel nation showed its support at the Greenville Drive’s District Five night at Fluor Field in downtown Greenville. The event featured a game between Byrnes and Wade Hampton.

The Byrnes baseball team got what it needed last week and then some, making its case for the 2014 playoffs.

The Rebels began the successful push by squeaking out a 6-5 win over Wade Hampton on District Five Night at Fluor Field in downtown Greenville. The game was part of a double-header with the Greenville Drive.

Andrew Hill, signing, will continue his track and field career at North Greenville University next season.

Hill to run for Crusaders

Greer track and field standout Andrew Hill will continue his athletic career at North Greenville University, signing a letter of intent with the Crusaders last week.

Hill said after talking with coaches and players at the university, the decision was pretty easy.
